This tree started when I wanted to find out more about my Luscombe line. My wife took on the main task of tracing the family. After many hours spent at Devon Records Office in Exeter and trawling through internet sites we seem to have met a brick wall.
John Luscombe was born about 1809 in North Huish, Devon
but the earliest we have record of him is in 1836 in South Milton, Devon. As yet we cannot find any mention of a baptism. I have taken a DNA sample to see if there is a similar Luscombe results. You will find this on John Robert Luscombes notes. The Perraton, Steer, Edgcombe and Inch family are all from the South Hams area in Devon
The Anthony line originate from Norfolk and moved down to Brentford in the late 1800's. They married into families originating from Ireland (McCarthy's and Flynns) Further back on the McCarthy line are the Snellings who were Thames watermen. Most of these family members were from Brentford, Middlesex
